Washing Line Bed
Kaur’s exhibition, Mirror, Mirror, at Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery, London, June 26–Sept 21 2025, was a response to Soane’s historic manor and family history. Using materials such as fleece, metal and plastic, works have been inspired by the motifs, symbols and themes based around high society, introducing both relatability and uneasiness in equal measure. Her chameleon-like figures and objects appear to morph and merge into the historic fabric of the building — at once interlopers and guests.
